Funded apprenticeship and traineeship qualifications available now
At MEGT, we know the key to any successful business is its people. As an employer, you know it’s essential your workplace has the right skillset to succeed. So how do you make sure you’ve got the right people with the right skills to keep your business moving? The answer may be registering your new or existing workers as an apprentice or trainee.

Apprenticeships and traineeships provide the practical, on-the-job training you need to stay ahead of the game – and gone are the days when they were just for school-leavers wanting to be a tradie. Nationally accredited apprenticeship and traineeship qualifications are now available in just about every industry and can be taken up by your eligible new AND existing team members.
To make it easier for local ACT businesses to develop their workforce, funding is available for a range of approved apprenticeship and traineeship qualifications through the Skills Canberra User Choice program. *
Right now, when you sign your eligible new or existing workers into a nationally accredited apprenticeship or traineeship qualification, Skills Canberra will pay a portion of your training costs directly to your chosen Registered Training Organisation. You may also be eligible for Government financial incentives to further offset your training costs.

Ok, I’m in! How do I get started?
To take advantage of User Choice funding, apprentices and trainees must be signed into a Commonwealth Government Training Contract. That might sound complicated but don’t worry – that’s where Apprenticeship Network Providers like MEGT come in. As Australia’s largest and only national Apprenticeship Network Provider with over 35 years of experience and expertise, we’re your local apprenticeship experts.
We’re here to help you decide whether an apprenticeship or traineeship is right for your staff, sign them up and register their Training Contract, and help you claim funding and other Government financial incentives that may be available.
