My name is Bridget, and I am currently employed by MEGT and undertaking a Certificate III in Business through a traineeship. After finishing year 12 VCE last year, I was lost as to what I wanted to do. I decided that a Business Certificate would be the best choice for me as I could learn while getting hands-on experience through my workplace.
In my current role, I am working within a diverse Accounts and Payroll Services Team. I am enjoying all aspects of my traineeship and have learnt a lot of skills that I will be able to use in many industries.
Coursework, or theory, is an essential part of gaining the full knowledge around the business industry and I’ve found that classroom-based training works best for me. I can focus 100% on my school work and complete my units to the highest standard.
The classes I attend, with Integrity Business College, are also extremely beneficial as I have met other students that are completing the same qualification, I am able to work with them as well as my trainer to complete tasks.
I would recommend a traineeship through MEGT for people who have recently graduated from high school and are unsure of their careers options. The traineeship is a fantastic way to get into the work force and study at the same time.
After completing my traineeship, I aim to continue working in an administration field and expanding my knowledge further by completing my Certificate IV in Business.
