Kyla Sullivan, HR Manager at Flavorite Hydroponic Tomatoes Pty Ltd located in Warragul, Victoria, is passionate about offering training and employment opportunities to local students interested in a career in Horticulture.

Together with the help of MEGT Apprenticeships Consultant Lisa Johnson, Flavorite will be introducing a School-Based Apprenticeship program in 2016, aimed at Year 11 students from secondary colleges in the area. The two-year program will provide an opportunity for four trainees per year to complete their secondary schooling, whilst working part-time at Flavorite, and completing a Certificate III in Horticulture, giving their career goals a big head start!

MEGT and Flavorite will soon hold an information night for students or teachers in the area who are interested in more information about the program.
